SMCC Report a Bad Bolt, Hanger, or Anchor
Please use this form to report rusted, spinning, damaged, worn, or otherwise unsafe hardware installed on any rock, ice, and/or alpine climb in SW Montana. In 2018, Southwest Montana Climbers Coalition received a matching grant from the Access Fund to begin our Hardware Replacement Program. We rely on volunteer effort to identify and prioritize hardware to be replaced, as well as the labor involved to replace said hardware. The SMCC has a full tool kit dedicated to this task.
