Party of One Guest Application
Hey there! Thanks for your interest in coming onto Party Of One as a guest. To help make that happen, we need some basic information from you on game preference, safety guidelines, and recording availability. Fill out this form to get started!

NOTE: We review submissions to this form as they come in in the order they're submitted, and do our best to reply in a timely manner.  That said, unfortunately, we're not able to reply to all of them quickly, or at all. Filling out this form does not guarantee you a response, a place on the show, or that we'll respond in a given timeframe. We do review every application that comes in, but it might take us as much as six months to work our way through depending on volume of submissions. We are, ultimately, a team of two people working out of our apartment, and we ask for your patience accordingly.

If you have a specific request you'd like to talk with us about (PARTICULARLY time-sensitive requests like crowdfunding games), the best way to reach us is via email at PartyOfOnePodcast@gmail.com.

If so, are there particular dates associated with it that you'd ideally like the episode to drop around?
Note: By checking this box, I'm confirming that, even if I wrote an answer to the above question, by not sending an email first, dropping an episode on that date might not be possible. *

Let's talk games!
As I always say to my guests, this is YOUR episode, so let's tell the story YOU want to tell. To that end, you basically have final say on what we play--whether that means a specific game, character, setting, etc. If you have a specific game you want to play, let me know (with a link to learn more about the game if you have it). If not, give me your thoughts on what you'd like to play, and I'll find a game that fits. The more specific, the better. "I'll play anything" is awesome, but "I'll play anything but I really like space and superheroes" or "I'll play anything, but I love sad games" gives me more to work with.

NOTE: For personal content reasons, we do not feature Dungeons & Dragons 5E, 5E derivates, and White Wolf/World of Darkness games on the show. We can happily suggest alternative games, though!
So, what game or type of game would you like to play? *
Safety Stuff
Safety and Consent are the most important things in playing games together. To that end, we utilize a system called Cut and Brake on the show. If things are getting heated, and you want to slow things down a bit, say "Brake," and the game will continue, but we'll either transition scenes, or give a breather. If you want to stop play at any point--whether for a few seconds or altogether--say "Cut" and we'll immediately stop what we're doing and discuss.
Questions about safety stuff?
Is there anything that you absolutely don't want coming up in play? *
My Safety Stuff
I ask that, unless a game is specifically designed to engage with these themes in a thoughtful way, no sexual assault, incest, or child/animal abuse come up in play, and that we put a veil on vivid descriptions of eye-related injuries.
Now, the boring recording stuff.
Recordings take 2 hours or less or your pizza's free, usually in the 90 minute range. If we're recording remotely, I ask that you have recording software like Audacity or Garageband or whatever open and ready to record--we'll also have Zoom running as a backup, but having local recordings is ideal.
Any questions about the recording process?

Inclusivity Policy
Party of One is committed to making and maintaining an inclusive, welcoming space for gamers of all types. To that end, racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, ableism, and other related material is unwelcome. We both reserve the right to stop a scene or end a recording if we feel unsafe or if this becomes a problem. We also reserve the right to, after recording, opt not to release the episode we recorded if we feel uncomfortable with the material itself.
NFT Policy
Party Of One does not support the sale and production of NFTs. If you are a Party Of One guest, and you announce you're selling NFTs, your episode will be pulled from the backlog. If you announce sales of NFTs between when your episode is recorded and published, your episode will not be released. And if you announce sales of NFTs prior to your scheduled recording, your episode will be canceled.
Are you cool with both policies? *
A copy of your responses will be emailed to the address you provided.
