St Alphonsus Liguori School is hosting a Chili Cook Off on Saturday, February 24,
2024. We are looking for cooks who have a special talent of creating great
chili.
Registration will begin on Monday, December
18 and run through February 1. To enter the Chili Cook Off a $20
registration fee is required. Each chili cook will be given half of
a table for their chili and to decorate based on the theme of
their chili. In addition, each chili cook will need to bring 8 quarts of
chili to serve to the general public and a way to keep it hot.
The Chili Cook Off will begin with the competition from noon until two. This
is closed off to the general public. The top three chilies will be
announced during the Chili Cook Off after it opens to the public from 3 until 7 PM in our gym.
We will be selling tickets to the general public for the event. Tickets will include sampling all of the chili entries. Additional food items, drinks, and fun activities for children will be offered and tickets for these can be purchased at the event.
