About Innovate Salone Re-Imagine Challenge

At Global Minimum Inc. (GMin) we believe in the limitless potential of youth as innovators, problem-solvers and transformative leaders. Our InChallenge program is a national innovation challenge for youth aged 13-20, that aim to support young leaders in conceptualizing their innovative ideas into tangible solutions through a series of workshops on innovation, leadership, entrepreneurship and technical mentorship. By tapping into the pool of young innovators, we aim to catalyze a culture of innovation through hands-on problem-solving.

The COVID-19 global pandemic has affected people in different ways pushing communities to rethink their way of life and establish new and innovative approaches that are inclusive and resilient. Aside from the direct impact on public health, the crisis has had severe repercussions on other sectors and thus affecting our way of life.

GMin is seeking submissions of innovative ideas from youth aged 13-20 to address challenges that have been amplified by COVID-19.  The focus areas for the Re-imagine challenge are:
1. Health Care
2. Gender Equality
3. Peace & Justice
4. Water & Sanitation.
It is ok to submit your project even if it is not targeting one the four sectors highlighted.
The deadline to submit a proposal online, by email, or in-person is November 30th, 2021 by 5:00 PM GMT. Finalists will be announced by 5th of December, 2021
