Instructions
This form is for those wishing to submit an abstract for TravCon poster presentations that pertain to an evidence-based practice project. TravCon 2025 is taking place on September 22nd & 23rd at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, NV.
When submitted, this form will be sent to TravCon Education Planning Committee for review. Abstracts will be saved and you will be contacted with invitations to present based on the focus of events, relevance of topic to our Traveling healthcare professional audience, and other considerations. Submissions will be held in a repository for a period of up to one year. After that time or with any revised information, a new form should be submitted.

Considerations for Abstract Submissions
Presenters may be asked to participate in their poster presentation and be available to discuss their findings during designated timeframes during the conference. If selected, you will be asked to incorporate active learning strategies or learner engagement methods into your presentation.
Guidelines for Abstract Submission
You will need to provide the following information regarding your abstract:
- Purpose, problem, and PICO(T) question
- Background and Significance (describe the knowledge base presenter is building on, importance of the study purpose, aims)
- Search Plan Method (may include flow diagram of article selection)
- Analysis of Literature (hierarchy of evidence)
- Proposed implementation strategies (if implemented, describe the innovation, and the process of implementation)
- Evaluation of implementation (if implemented, describe the effectiveness of the innovation and how success was measured)
- Implications for Practice or Education
- Future Recommendations (identify any future research or ideas for implementation based on these findings)
- Three key references that support your project
