Your Wichita's Littlest Heroes membership gives you full access to the national art therapy program, Beads of Courage! Wichita's Littlest Heroes is one of the nations only nonprofit organization that works directly with BOC with no hospital affiliation.

Beads of Courage, Inc. is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children and teens coping with serious illness, their families, and the clinicians who care for them through our Arts-in-Medicine Programs. We believe in creating a context for caring transactions to transpire through our community and encouragement programs.

HOW IT WORKS
1. You start working on a Prescription Card - these don't have to be perfect, just give us your best guess!
2. Bring your filled out Prescription Card to a WLH Beads of Courage Event
3. The Parrot Heads will help you and your Hero gather all the beads on your Prescription Card
4. Your Hero will be able to tangibly process their medical journey, making healing happen through the use of beads as a historical art form.

Every quarter, we will be hosting a BOC event with the Parrot Heads of Central Kansas. Fill out this form to let us know where you are at with Beads of Courage. We are working to make sure every Hero is able to participate!
