Instagram Content Moderation
I am taking some steps to address the issue of contents being removed from Instagram, mainly content created by gay artists. To help the relevant parties understand the issue better, it would be helpful if you can submit evidence. I will utilize these evidence to build a case and write an article on my site. 

How you can help: please submit images, and share any relevant written evidence you can provide. Let me know if you would like to be identified, or if you prefer, you can submit them anonymously. I need to be able to collect enough evidence from a wide range of artists in order to support my case.

About me: I am a gay artist on Instagram. I have seen many gay artworks being removed and eventually with accounts banned. I have decades of professional experiences designing apps like Instagram, and I understand how most moderation systems are designed and implemented. 

Based on my industry knowledge, I have identified several issues in the moderation process that may not be obvious to both the users and the support team, so I have initiated an effort with the goal of addressing this issue in such way that it will satisfy the business goals of Instagram and the creative freedom of gay artists. If it’s ok for me to contact you for follow-up questions, what is the best way to reach you? Please provide username if on social media, and ideally as an email (but only if you do check it). If you provide an Instagram username, I will likely send you a DM asking for an alternative contact method. It is exceptionally unwise to discuss content moderation policies about instagram on Instagram.

DMs on IG are used as part of source materials to model moderation policies — if you complain too much about a system’s moderation policies, even in DM, it could indirectly harm your account. This is a nuance that may not be apparent.
