Start the new year with a gift to yourself: the time to reflect and plan for 2024 to support your own flourishing.

You may have heard about Brené Brown, read her bestselling books, and listened to her podcasts and TED talks– but the most impactful way to encounter her wisdom and research is through participating in hands-on community learning experiences like the one we will host in January!

As Brown shares in her book, Rising Strong: “When we are brave enough, often enough, we will fall.” The Rising Strong™ process is about what it takes to get back up. Struggle can be our greatest call to courage and the clearest path to a wholehearted life. The Rising Strong™ process can transform how you tell your stories of struggle and, most importantly, the stories you tell yourself.

The Rising Strong retreat will be a three-day intensive experience in self-reflection, learning, and brave conversations about vulnerability, courage, and wholehearted life. The Rev. Giulianna Cappelletti Gray, MSW, MDiv, will lead this retreat; she is a certified Daring Way™ and Rising Strong™ facilitator.

Participants can expect a supportive community atmosphere and engagement in material around:

  1. Connecting with your values and aspirations
  2. Discovering the dynamics of vulnerability and the shields that hold you back
  3. Practice strategies for reckoning with emotion and anxiety
  4. Learn how to trust and set healthy boundaries
  5. Writing your new chapter for 2024
