Have you witnessed outstanding athletic achievements within the Southwest School Corporation? Do you know of deserving individuals who have left an indelible mark on the sports legacy of our school corporation and community? It's time to celebrate their exceptional talent and dedication by submitting a nomination for the Southwest School Corporation Athletic Hall of Fame!

We are seeking nominations for former athletes, coaches, and/or special contributors to our athletic programs. Please complete Section 1, which is your information, and then complete the section (Athlete, Coach, or Special Athletic Contributor) that matches your nominee.

Criteria for Nomination

Any Southwest High School’s athlete alumnus or alumna whose class graduated at least five years prior is eligible for nomination to the Hall of Fame. These nominees must have conducted themselves in such a manner as to reflect honor upon their high school and to have qualities of character and standards of conduct which are exemplary.

In addition to those eligible under the rules set out above, a coach must have retired or departed from the school at least two years prior to his or her nomination. In addition, no automatic criteria will be utilized for special athletic contribution and special recognition may be granted where it is deemed appropriate by the selection committee.

Moral character and good citizenship during both undergraduate and postgraduate years will be taken into consideration. The record of the individual must be so outstanding that there are no questions of qualifying for the Hall of Fame.

Nominations may be made by anyone, and individuals not selected shall remain on the list for consideration for a five-year period. These individuals are eligible for renomination if not selected by the committee within the five-year nomination period. Nominations will not be publicly disclosed.
