LLL Toddler meetings, summer 2022:
June 24th
July 15th


This meeting is aimed at mothers who are already feeding a child over 12 months old. You are also welcome to join us if your child is approaching a year old and you are curious about what might be ahead!

Location, transport & accessibility

South Oxford Family Room

SOFR is next to Grandpont Nursery School.
There is limited free parking in Whitehouse Road.
Any bus going down Abingdon Road passes about 5 minutes' walk away from the centre.


The venue is fully accessible.  There is a ramp into the building and flat access throughout.  


Timing

LLL Toddler meetings at SOFR run from 12.45 - 2.15pm. The discussion will start promptly at 1pm, giving you a 15 minute window to arrive and get settled.


Practical arrangements

Some toys will be available. You are also welcome to bring your own. Help to tidy up at the end is much appreciated!
There is a baby change in the bathroom. You are also welcome to bring your own and change your child wherever you like.
We will provide tea and coffee. You are welcome to bring lunch and/or snacks for yourself and your child.


Covid measures

Please do not attend if you have Covid 19 symptoms or if you are under a period of isolation following a positive test or contact with others who have tested positive.  


What to expect at the meeting

LLL meetings are about mother-to-mother support, as well as giving you the opportunity to get help from La Leche League Leaders.  We hope that you will enjoy each other’s company and be generous with your ideas, experiences and support. LLL Leaders (trained breastfeeding counsellors) will facilitate discussion and do our best to help with feeding issues.
