Let's celebrate the fall season with a Downtown Scarecrow Display Contest in downtown Villa Rica! All downtown businesses are invited to participate. Registration fee is FREE!!! All scarecrow displays will be posted on the Villa Rica Main Street's social media page, local newspapers, and website. Your business will benefit from the increased foot traffic associated with your display!!

Registration Deadline
  • All entries must be received by November 1, 2023.
Awards
  • Judging criteria include creativity, originality, craftsmanship, and overall visual impact.
  • Awards will be given to the 1st Place Winner - $250, 2nd Place Winner - $150, and 3rd Place Winner - $50
Rules
  • Scarecrow displays must be completed by November 13, 2023.
  • Scarecrows displays must be family friendly, nonviolent, and nonpolitical.
  • Traditional scarecrows, team or corporate scarecrows, sports team scarecrows, and character scarecrows are encouraged.
  • Scarecrow display must be viewable from the street.
  • Participates are responsible for their own display.
  • Participates must maintain display in good viewing conditions and weather conditions.
  • No valuable items should be used in the display.
  • A business logo can be used with the display for promotional purposes.
