Volunteer virtually with us this summer. We are busy creating online content, hosting reading sessions, creating math goodie bags, launching a newsletter and much more this summer! Volunteer hours vary by project and task.

Summer of B4M opportunities :

Sign up below to collaborate on a student newsletter and publication team featuring resources for middle school and high school students as well as interviews from community members! We will also be working to develop a short story contest to feature in the newsletter soon. Experience with website/graphic design, journalistic writing, blog writing, project management, interviewing, copy editing, digital content creation, photo/video editing and more are appreciated but not required.


The B4M Goodie Bag Project needs volunteers who enjoy arts and crafts who will assemble the goodie bags, volunteers who will come up with future goodie bag activities, volunteers who can film and/or edit short tutorial videos, and 1 organized+tech-savvy volunteer who can set up Zoom calls and coordinate our team meetings each week.

Looking for volunteers who are passionate about design. Bring your creative ideas and collaborate to simplify the user experience. Help with creating Zoom backgrounds, animation videos, a website, and infographics for B4M! Experience in Canva, Sketch, or the Adobe Creative Suite will be a plus but is not required.


The B4M Tour Project needs volunteers to create math centered lessons using Google tours for the fall session of B4M. We will also be researching different ways to create fun lessons, and expanding our library of materials. You will have to attend weekly Zoom calls. Experience with Google tours, photo/video editing, audio recording is appreciated but not required.  

Create math activities using Google Arts and Culture and musuem educational exhibits. Help with researching the different exhibits, curating a list of exhibits and exploring ways to expand our collection of online content.

Reading Buddies will offer both live and pre-recorded sessions where students can join in order to read a book with a trained tutor. Our program caters to all ages, from Pre-Elementary students (in our Mommy & Me sessions) to Middle School students (in our individual sessions). Looking for volunteers comfortable with reading to children, as well as those who are willing to sit in on lessons and find books/resources.
