For the 15th consecutive year, Santa Monica College is proud to present our students' finest work investigating and celebrating the ideas and practices of global citizenship and its annual theme, Risk, Refuge & Resilience. All SMC students are invited to submit their work from spring 2023 to spring 2024 with the best examples receiving campus-wide recognition for their achievement.

READ CAREFULLY: If you plan on submitting more than one project, you must submit one application per project - each project has its own separate application and needs to be in a different category (categories listed further down).

As a reminder, if your work is selected, you must be in attendance on the day of the event: Thursday, May 2nd beginning at 2 pm until 6 pm (approximate time frame) on SMC's Main Campus.

PROJECT SUBMISSIONS must be made electronically via email to Globalcitizenship@smc.edu within 24 hours of submitting your application - see specific email instructions further down.

READ CAREFULLY: Contestants can submit more than one project -- however, they must be *different* projects. For example, you may submit a research paper and a dance performance. You may *not,* however, submit 2 dance performances.

IF YOU SUBMIT MORE THAN 1 PROJECT, YOU MUST FILL OUT 1 APPLICATION PER PROJECT.
