Please complete a separate application for each poet you are requesting funding for.
This application must be submitted by the host of the event. Hosts may not apply to receive their own funding. Approved applications will be charged a $15 admin fee for each half reading, and a $25 admin fee for each approved full reading. Visit

Applicants must:
> Be the host or organizer of the event
> Apply for funding for active full members of the League (check
poets.ca/directory if you are unsure)
> Not apply for their own funding
> Confirm the reading with the poet in advance of submitting an application
> Pay any required admin fees promptly upon approval of the funding
Publishers and schools are not eligible to receive funding for events through this program.
Funded events must feature a poetry reading from the poet -- panel presentations, workshop facilitations, and classroom visits are not eligible to receive funding through this program.
