Thank you for your interest in private and semi-private swimming lessons at the Stevens Point Area YMCA. Once we have your request, we will start looking for a swim instructor that matches your availability and needs. We do currently have a waitlist, and it may take up to two months to fill your request. Due to pool usage, private lessons from 4:30-7:30pm Monday-Thursday may take longer to schedule. Thank you for your understanding. Must be 3+ for private lessons.
When an instructor picks up your request, they will text or email you to confirm times and a start date. Please save their contact information, so that you can communicate on time changes and cancellations. Once your first lesson is scheduled, a credit will be applied to your account, please pay for your package, either before or at the beginning of your first lesson. You can pay over the phone or in person at Membership Services.
When you are done with your package, please communicate to the instructor whether you would like to start a new package or not. If you take a break between packages, or your instructor is gone for an extended period of time. Please fill out a new private swim lesson request form.
