WHAT:
An outdoor career exploration event for 250 high school students in Freeborn, Mower, and Fillmore counties (COVID-19 protocols in place)

Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 8:30am - 2:30pm (set-up from 7:30-8:30am)
Lunch is NOT provided - please bring
The rain date is Wednesday, May 12, 2021

WHY:
The SMEC high schools have collaborated on this career-connected learning initiative in direct response to businesses’ needs for future talent, which is the number one issue of employers today. Our goal with this event is to provide students with a relatable link to the real world through hands-on expertise and concrete examples of how academics relate to future educational and occupational opportunities right here in southeast Minnesota.
