Cafe's - Sheffield Reusable Coffee Cup Scheme
In the UK we use 7 million disposable coffee cups every day – that’s 2.5 billion every year, with only 1% recycled. Join the #reusablerevolution and sign up to the Sheffield Reusable Coffee Cup scheme. Our amazing partners, Delete Cups, will provide you with all the reusable hot drink cups you need, the hardware to run the scheme, and staff training all for FREE!

Here's how the scheme would work:

⭐ The barista adds the reusable cup deposit to the transaction when a customer purchases a drink

⭐ The barista makes the drink in the reusable hot drinks cup

⭐ When the customer has finished with the cup, they can drop it off at another participating venue, where their cup is scanned and the deposit is then automatically refunded back to them

The return point would be a dedicated area such as a bin, which automatically refunds when the customer returns their empty cup. They would not need to queue for a deposit
