2022-2023 School Calendar Options Parent and Guardian Survey
The District Calendar Committee has developed two School Calendar Options for potential recommendation to the Superintendent and Board of Education for the 2022-2023 school year. I have attached the district Calendar Options for your review and consideration.

Both School Calendar Options (1) and (2) include:
-August 10th as the first day of student attendance (August 9 as Opening Day for Teachers and Staff)
-(4) Holidays: Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day
-September 9- Septemberfest
-Election Days- November 8 and May 16
-Full (2 weeks) Christmas Break  (December 19 - December 30)
-Full Spring Break (April 3 - 7)
-January 16 - Martin Luther King Jr. Day
-Flexible Professional Development- (February 10 & 24, March 10 & 24)

The primary differences between the two District Calendar Options for your consideration are as follows:

Option 1:
-Full Fall Break (5 days) - October 3-7, 2022
-Standard Thanksgiving Break (3 days) - November 23-25, 2022

Option 2:
-Mini Fall Break (2 days) - October 6-7, 2022
-Full-Week Thanksgiving Break (5 days) - November 23-25, 2022

Please take this opportunity to provide your input/feedback regarding the option that you think is best by participating in the 2022-2023 District Calendar Survey.
