OUR Faculty Mentoring Workshop Registration (Spring 2024)

The Office of Undergraduate Research will host a 1-day (in person) faculty workshop focused on student mentoring on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 (8:30am-2:00pm).

This is for faculty mentoring students in research as well as other HIPs and topics will include the non-technical aspects of mentoring, including aligning expectations, communication, addressing equity and inclusion, and fostering independence. Workshop participants will build into a network of trained mentors (via a google room) so that we can continue to engage, share successes, brainstorm strategies for difficult situations that arise, etc. after the workshop.
