I know that running is a potentially hazardous activity which could cause injury or death. My child should not enter or run this event unless they are medically able and properly trained, and with this submission, I certify that my child meets that criteria. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to any aspect of my child's participation in this event, including the right of any official to deny or suspend their participation for any reason.  I assume all risks associated with my child's running in this race including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants including the potential of contracting of a communicable disease, the effects of weather, including high heat and/or humidity, the conditions of the road and traffic on the course, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. I further agree to abide by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations for the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 or any other communicable diseases. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Wicked Running Club, Glen Urquhart School, and all sponsors, organizers, and volunteers of this event; the City of Beverly; their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my child's participation in this event even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use photographs of myself, my adult family members and my children, including motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purposes. All fees are nonrefundable.
