WHAT?
Oasis for Internal Peace is a space for creation, play, and connection in difficult times and it is open to anyone. It might be a good choice, if you search for a peaceful space to receive inspiration and connect with like-minded people living in all the different corners of the world. In this larger community, we meet to make art and celebrate the diversity of our cultures with openness, respect, and curiosity.
It is a community-based program, in which you will get a chance to:
* follow inspiring art invitations,
* make art at your own time,
* and meet up in an international online group to reflect on your creative process or simply connect with others.
HOW?
On Friday every week, around 11am CET, you will receive an email with an art invitation and you will be encouraged to explore those invitations in your own time and at your own pace.
On each last Tuesday of the month, we will gather together on Zoom to reconnect and see how art-making has served you in the past four weeks. In this 90min. gathering, we will focus on listening, sharing, and creating meanings for our artworks.
If you can't participate in this meeting, don't worry at all. We will find another day or way to share our artworks and reflections! That might include an email communication or a WhatsApp exchange.
WHAT WILL YOU RECEIVE?
We have started on February 2nd, 2024 and will continue the explorations throughout the year.
* you will receive one creative invitation on every Friday in a given month to explore on your own, it will arrive in your mailbox around 11am CET and you will be able to respond to it by email
* those invitations will include various engagement options based on how much time you have
* we will meet monthly to connect, share insights, and co-create a space filled with beauty and hope
* our monthly gathering will take place on each last Tuesday of the month, at 7pm CET
* in the meantime, I'll invite you to share your artworks with me via email, WhatsApp, or whatever other way you choose
