Anonymous Art Show Open Call Application Form - 2022
The Abbotsford Arts Council is pleased to announce the open call for art for the 8th Annual Anonymous Art Show Fundraiser, opening November 5, 2022. The exhibition will be hosted both digitally on the Abbotsford Arts Council website https://abbotsfordartscouncil.com and in-person at the Kariton Art Gallery.

The Anonymous Art Show Fundraiser showcases art that is submitted anonymously by various members of the community of all ages and skill levels to be featured and sold in a lightly juried exhibition in support of the arts.

The AAC is looking for local artists of all skill levels and ages to create works of diverse styles, subject matters, and mediums. All submitted work must be completed on an unframed 12" x 12" x 1.5” canvas or unframed 12” x 12” x 1.5” cradled wood panel. Works on watercolour paper or photographic prints mounted to a 12" x 12" x 1.5" cradled wood panel are also acceptable.

If you purchase your 12" x 12" x 1.5" canvas or panel at the House of Fine Art (HOFA) you are eligible to receive a discount coupon towards a future purchase at HOFA (2485 West Railway St.) Make sure to tell them it's for the Anonymous Art Show and check that your canvas is stamped!

Non-members are limited to one submission. AAC members may submit up to 3 pieces. You can sign up for membership right here: https://abbotsfordartscouncil.com/membership-sign-up/

Each piece displayed in the show will be sold at $100. Fifty percent of the proceeds go right to the artist, and the remaining 50% stays with the Abbotsford Arts Council to help fund valuable programs like free community events, exhibition space, arts initiatives and more. Purchased pieces are immediately taken off the wall and given to the purchaser or simply marked as 'SOLD' online. Once the piece is sold, the artist's name will be revealed. The Abbotsford Arts Council will announce each participating artist on Instagram @abbotsfordartscouncil as their work is sold.
