Glenburn School's Data Collection to Plan for the 20-21 School Year
Dear Parent/Guardian,
As the Glenburn School Steering Committee works on details for the 20-21 school year, we greatly appreciate your input and feedback.  Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and preferences regarding safety, transportation, instruction, and nutrition services by completing this brief (5 min.) survey.  Your perspective will provide terrific insight as we develop plans for the coming school year for Glenburn School.  We will incorporate your input into our decision making process to the degree it's possible.  While we hope to return to in-person instruction this fall, we recognize that Maine DOE and CDC guidelines will largely dictate the degree to which that will be possible.  No matter what the circumstance are, we will be prepared to deliver a quality education that keeps students safe.

I'm concerned about the health of other family members in the home, if school is open to in-person instruction in the fall.
If we are unable to open school for in-person instruction five days per week, and this causes a child care issue for your family, please indicate your needs below.  Would your family be interested in accessing the Champions child care program if available?
Due to physical distancing requirements, bus transportation solutions are proving to be very challenging.  Currently, this is a significant limiting factor on having in-person instruction in the fall.  With that in mind, please select the option that best describes your families needs. *

Rate your level of comfort of the following options as we prepare for the 20-21 school year. *
Preferred option
Not preferred but will work for my family
Not preferred and this option is most difficult for my family.
School is open for in-person instruction with physical distancing protocols in place.
Initiate a hybrid model with some days being in-person instruction and some days being at home learning (this would allow our community to keep student groups small).
Continue with remote learning until a vaccine is available.
Due to guidelines indicating that meal services would need to be contact free and distributed to students in small groups, it's likely that meals will likely be pre-packaged, bagged meals.  With that in mind how likely is your family to participate (please check which meal option best suite your family)? *

Thank you for providing your insight as we continue the planning process.  While we hope to open school for in-person instruction this fall we are planning for multiple scenarios.  Feel free to share other thoughts or ideas you might have during this health crisis.
