Extra details:
1)The RSES PTA Executive Board makes the final decision on all grant requests that are within the current approved budget, and the grants are considered on a first come-first serve basis. More funding can become available depending upon the outcome of fundraising efforts of the RSES PTA and approval of the general membership at a PTA General Membership Meeting.
2) The PTA President makes sure the item(s) is (are) included on the agenda for the following PTA board meeting. During the PTA Board meeting, the President presents the applications(s) to the board. The board members asks questions and vote on whether or not to fund the request(s).
3) The President follows up with the teacher or staff member on the approval or denial via email.
4) If the request is approved, the President will provide more information about the reimbursement process as needed. Deadlines will be established after approval of the grant.
5) The teacher or staff sponsor is encouraged to report back to the PTA on the positive outcomes of the grant.
6) The grant applicant is required to be a member of RSE PTA (You can join at joinpta.org, if not already a member.)
