Kids Count for Wildlife: Red-backed Salamander Survey

Friday, September 22

4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Harris Center

Free of charge

Calling all kids ages 9 through 18 who care about wildlife! Try your hand at field research, develop your naturalist skills, and do something to help the wild animals of our world with Harris Center naturalist Susie Spikol. We’ll flip over special wooden boards in the Harris Center woods in search of red-backed salamanders to count, as part of a long-term study of this common woodland species. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an interested family member. All others can attend without parental supervision.

For more information, contact Susie.
