Thank you for expressing your interest to trial for the Dodgeroos in 2020!
This year we are competing in four categories at the WDA Dodgeball World Cup in Cairo, Egypt (Under 21’s July 13-14, Women’s, Mixed, Men’s July 16-18).
Opportunities in 2020 are not limited to the national team. We are looking to build state squads from which we can develop the talent in our national pathways.
We will be hosting trials at the following venues on select dates and players are welcome to attend multiple trials:
Melbourne
- Saturday 15th February, 1:30pm - 3:30pm. Aqualink, Box Hill.
- Sunday 8th March, 1:00pm - 3:00pm.
Aqualink, Box Hill.
Perth
- Thursday 20th February, 6:00pm - 8:00pm.
Revo Sports Centre, Shenton Park.
Sydney
- Saturday 7th March, 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Morris Iemma Indoor Sports Centre, Riverwood.
Brisbane
- Saturday 29th February, 1:00pm - 3:00pm.
Brisbane City Indoor Sports Centre, Newmarket.
Each session will cost $10 and is payable by cash on the night or by transfer to Dodgeball Federation Australia

If you’re unable to make any of the trials, we are welcoming a combined video and written application.
Due to the earlier tournament schedule in 2020, the trial process will be different to previous years to maximise players time to put their case forward for selection.
After the initial state trials players will be invited to a further trial (locations/dates to be confirmed based on location of members of the Preliminary Australian Squad.
Please note the following requirements from World Dodgeball Association:
For an individual to be eligible to represent a Member country in international competition, the individual must be :
- A Legal National (including Citizenship)
- Have a parent who was born in the Member country; or
- A resident of the Member country for three (3) years.
