Insurance through Volleyball Manitoba will provide both general liability and accident coverage for camp organizers, coaches and participants as well as for the facility being used. Most facilities now require user groups to show proof of insurance to access and use their gyms and this insurance provides that coverage.

Camp organizers must complete the registration form in full.

All camps organized by approved clubs in the summer or fall school seasons must complete this Information Form.

Camps organized by approved clubs are covered through Volleyball Manitoba membership benefits. 

Camps organized by other operators can be covered under the Volleyball Manitoba insurance through the satisfactory completion of this Information Form, along with a $5 per participant insurance cost.

For camps or clinics to be approved for coverage by Volleyball Manitoba insurance, they are required to meet the following principles:

• A minimum of 1 NCCP Development level certified coach
• All coaches involved have completed the Respect in Sport for Leaders training, as well as relevant Criminal record and Child Abuse Registry Checks.
• Understand and follow the Volleyball Manitoba Code of Conduct & Ethics and Abuse Policies.
• Understand and follow the Open and Observable Spaces: Rule of Two principle.

Events can then be listed as approved and sanctioned on the Volleyball Manitoba website and a Certificate of Insurance can be provided.
