We are so excited to share Trusting Your Journey: Childbirth Education Class! Bringing together our over 15 years of experience as birthworkers and several years training doulas, we are offering this 4-week in-person series to support you as you prepare for your birth!
Course Details:
- Open to the birthing person and one support person.
- Open to everyone AND we center Black Indigenous and People of Color.
- We are committed to uplifting Queer, Trans, and Gender Non-Conforming folks.
- We are open to all types of families including, and not limited to: solo and/or young parents, couples, polyamorous relationships, surrogates, adoptive, and foster families.
- Small class size to ensure individualized attention & an opportunity to build relationships with others.
- Participants will receive samples of plant medicine homemade by us, your course guides & plant nerds!
- Participants will have access to a Google folder full of valuable resources and documents.

Early bird fee for this exchange is $300 (through Aug 6th) - Fee for exchange after Aug 6 is $350-$450 sliding scaleWe will work on:
- Understanding the labor and birth journey.
- Visioning for your birth and creating a birth plan.
- Reviewing the anatomy & physiology of a birthing body.
- Practicing techniques for comfort, pain management, and relaxation.
- Knowing how to support the birthing person emotionally & physically.
- Anticipating what to expect in your birthing location.
- Developing skills to advocate for your family.
- Practicing informed consent.
- Working with plant medicine across the trimesters.
- Understanding pelvic floor care & healing.
- Preparing for postpartum & baby feeding.
- Learning simple infant massage.
- And more!
