How much time to allow
During the summer: Generally, we ask for one week's notice for event balloon requests. This request form will not allow you to request balloons for a date that is too soon. However, this depends greatly on the size and complexity of the order, availability of products, time of year, and staffing. Please call us at 734-764-0436 to ask if we can accommodate a request within a week.
SORC is staffed by students, and these deliveries are executed entirely by those students. Their academic commitments come first!
- Delivery is not guaranteed.
- We do not deliver on weekends.
- If you have an early-morning event, you will need to choose MYLAR (foil) bouquets and request delivery/pickup the day before.
- If you have an early-morning event on a Monday, you will need to choose MYLAR (foil) bouquets and Friday afternoon delivery/pickup.

DO NOT pick any dates more than 2 months in advance. Our student staff changes every semester, so this is an important limit for us to impose from a quality control perspective. If you submit too far in advance, the person who handles your request might have graduated, been promoted, or left for other pursuits by the time the order comes around.
Blackout Dates
SORC is closed and is therefore not able to accommodate any orders at these times:
- Fall Break (October 14-15)
- Thanksgiving Break
- Winter Break
- Outside regular SORC business hours*
- Mornings before SORC opens
- Weekends, when SORC is closed (sometimes we make exceptions)
- First-round Winter Advertising Appointments (November 18-22)
- Spring Break
- Between semesters
- Memorial Day Weekend
- Independence Day
Delivery is not guaranteed from May through end of August. We do not always have available drivers in the summer.
Delivery window
We ask for a 90-minute delivery window. We have just one vehicle to deliver all orders, and our delivery drivers are students. They don't always have the flexibility of delivering within a short time frame. Please give us the biggest window you can.
