Petition for Outdoor Recreation at Centre County Correctional Facility

Individuals incarcerated at the Centre County Correctional Facility (CCCF) have no opportunity to get outside for fresh air, exercise, sunlight, and all the benefits being outside provides, even though Pennsylvania Code demands outdoor recreation (i.e., § 95.238 of Title 37).  [For more information and documents related to this issue, see here.]

We are appalled that this is happening in our community!

As Centre County residents, we hereby petition the Centre County Commissioners and Prison Board of Inspectors to address this concern and provide a means for all confined at CCCF to experience daily outside recreation.
