School Board Policy 5120  -  The School Board directs that the assignment of students to schools within this Corporation be consistent with the best interests of students and the best use of the resources of this Corporation.  

Política de la Junta Escolar 5120 - La Junta Escolar ordena que la asignación de estudiantes a escuelas dentro de esta Corporación sea consistente con los mejores intereses de los estudiantes y el mejor uso de los recursos de esta Corporación.

1. Parents/Teachers seeking an intra-district transfer should complete this Intra-District Transfer Request Application on or before June 1st of the school year prior to the one for which the transfer is requested.  If the request is approved, the student will be granted approval for transfer for only one (1) school year per application. A new transfer request application must be submitted annually.

Los padres/maestros que deseen una transferencia dentro del distrito deben completar esta Solicitud de solicitud de transferencia dentro del distrito a más tardar el 1 de junio del año escolar anterior a aquél para el cual se solicita la transferencia. Si se aprueba la solicitud, se le otorgará al estudiante la aprobación para la transferencia por solo un (1) año escolar por solicitud. Una nueva solicitud de solicitud de transferencia debe enviarse anualmente.

2. In completing the form, parents should complete all portions of the form and state specifically the reason for the transfer.

3. All transfer approvals are contingent on the parent/guardian providing transportation to and from school each school day. Noblesville Schools will not provide transportation. Parent(s)/Guardian(s) may not use Noblesville Schools' bus transportation system for transporting their student to and/or from school.

The Student Services Department will act on applications submitted by June 1st no later than July 9th of the current school year. All other requests will be acted upon by the first student attendance day of the requested school year of transfer. If the application is submitted during the school year, the application will be acted upon in a reasonable amount of time.

El Departamento de Servicios Estudiantiles actuará sobre las solicitudes enviadas antes del 1 de junio a más tardar el 9 de julio del año escolar actual. Todas las demás solicitudes serán atendidas el primer día de asistencia del estudiante del año escolar solicitado de transferencia.
