Dear Parents / Carer

RE: PERMISSION FOR CHILDREN TO WALK HOME ON THEIR OWN

As children learn to be more independent and prepare for life at secondary school, we allow our pupils from Years 5 and 6 to walk home on their own after school.

Please complete the form below if you wish to give your permission. Copies of this form will be kept in the front office and with their class teacher. If you child is currently in Year 5, we will ask you to renew your permission when they are in Year 6.

Our apologies to parents who have already given us letters of permission, but in order to keep more rigorous records, we would like you to give your authority by filling in the form below.

Please note that we also require parental permission to allow any older siblings (including secondary age children) to collect children from school.
