Build with Mesa Buddies is a companion course for the District's Distance Education (DE) Certification Course. The goal of Build with Mesa Buddies is to provide Mesa-specific peer-to-peer support for online course design and development. In this second cohort we'll be accepting applications for faculty who haven't yet completed the District's Online Faculty Certification Program. If you are already certified, we encourage you to enroll and participate in the Teaching Tree instead of Cohort #2 of Buddies.

Course Requirements for Build with Mesa Buddies:
1. Maintain active participation throughout the 8 weeks of our online cohort
2. Complete the development of weekly online course design benchmarks
3. Complete (concurrently) the Online Faculty Certification Program offered by District Online Learning Pathways
4. Culminating project to share out your course design progress to the Mesa community

Compensation will be available for participants who complete the course requirements. In this form you'll be asked to select from the following compensation options:
1. Earn an .5 Extended Service Unit ($516.84)
2. Earn up to 30 hours (1 Unit) toward Pay Scale Advancement Credit.
3. Earn Flex credit up to 30 hours.

*Each participant is eligible for one of the incentives above. Participants will be contacted directly about their selected incentive at the start of the Buddies course.
