This is your opportunity to start a Society for the March 2023 session! By completing this form, you can officially register and apply to run a society. Registering a Society gives you the freedom to organise your own activities or projects while being supported by the framework of the ECTA. What is the difference between an informal group on Telegram and an ECTA Society? Well, you should consider creating an official society if:

• You have an interest/hobbie you wish to share and promote with other trainees. Official ECTA Societies' activities gain the opportunity to be promoted by the Trainees' Committee in their newsletter, event updates and Telegram channel;
• You wish for your Society to have a dedicated section in the Yearbook at the end of your session. Each ECTA Society has the opportunity to include a section dedicated to its members and activities; and/or
• You have an idea for an activity/event that might require financial support. All ECTA Societies can apply for such financial support, in line with the funding guidelines and conditions.

All Societies must have a Head of Society who acts as a first point of contact for general inquiries and matters relating to its activities. In order to create a society and become a Head of Society, all that is needed is T-Card membership. (Non-T-Card holders can join and benefit from a Society, but a T-Card is required to become a Head of Society).

Upon completing this form, the Liaison Committee (March) or Trainees' Committee (April onwards) will process your request to register a society and get back to you as soon as they can. We can't wait to see all the ideas you have for your session!
