Hello Crafters!!
"Make Music Day - Stratford" is A Live Free Musical Festival Tuesday June 2, 2022 at The Shakespeare Theater Park at 1850 Elm Street, Stratford, CT 4:00 - 9:00 pm. We are looking for approximately 40 Artisan Craft to join the fun!
More than 800 cities around the world hold citywide music celebrations on June 21st. The exciting news is that we are planning an Artisan’s Market around the circle of the park with food trucks for picnic dinners while watching and listening to live music while enjoying the views of the Housatonic River at sunset. The town will be providing us with the Showmobile Stage this year and we will have a smaller stage provided by the Mighty Quinn Foundation.
Make Music is a free celebration of music around the world each year on June 21st. Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it is now held on the same day in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries. Completely different from a typical music festival, it is open to all musicians — young and old, amateur and professional, of every musical persuasion. All of it is free and open to the public.
