Electronic signature that you understand your roll and requirements as a faculty mentor is required. This includes the following: You will oversee the work of your student, including presentations that they will be required to give, projects and reports that include a video-making project, written proposals, and oral presentation at our Fall 2021 CURCA Celebration. In addition, you acknowledge that you will help us document your student's work throughout the 10 weeks. Students will be expected to work between 35-40 hours/week for 10 weeks. In addition, you will also be required to evaluate yours and your student's experiences, to attend all mandatory meetings and workshops, and would ask that you also consider sharing your expertise by volunteering to cohost workshops and to engage in the summer urban education bridge program and other student-recruitment opportunities. As a mentor, you will receive a stipend of $1,500 in August 2021 upon completion of the SSuRF program once all assessments are completed. Failure to fulfill your agreed-upon role may result in our inability to support you and your students for future SSuRF experiences.
