Join Master Naturalist and experienced birder John Wilson for a birding walk thru Oakton Community Park on Sunday, May 7th from 8:30 - 9:30 am. John
will guide us as we look and listen for different birds. You'll likely find some new birds and improve your birdwatching skills. Plus, we'll visit the bluebird houses that have just been installed around the meadow.
Meet at 8:20 am in front of the historic Oakton schoolhouse located in Oakton Community Park at 2841 Hunter Mill Road and just bring your eyes and ears - and binoculars if you have them. After our walk, we'll enjoy coffee and donuts.
All ages are welcome to this free event. Walking on uneven ground will be necessary. In the event of inclement weather, we will contact you by email.
Attendance is limited to 25 participants. You will be notified when we receive your registration and if at maximum capacity, we will let you know that you are on a wait-list.
