Successful candidates will:

- Be at least 15 years of age and a Registered Member of Scouts Canada (or be eligible to register)
- Possess a valid Standard First Aid certification with CPR - C from a recognized provider
- Complete an application and interview process
- Demonstrate an ability to dedicate sufficient time to training and event participation
- Demonstrate a maturity level sufficient to represent the group and Scouts Canada
