Hi and welcome to the Survey!

The ambition with this survey is to get a clearer and more consistent understanding of what different types of designers do and what to expect from different roles at different levels in order to help both individuals, managers and organizations do better work, set better expectations and help increase job satisfaction.

If you are a design manager or leader, we ask you to share this with your team and to ask them to individually fill it out. In return, we will share the results with you to help in hiring, evaluating, and developing your design teams.

If you are an individual designer, we ask you to fill out the survey yourself. We’ll share the results with you so you can see how you compare with how other designers describe the work they do.

To that end, we ask you to go through a list of typical design tasks and tell us how often you do them. All answers are anonymous. 

This survey should take no more than 10 - 15 minutes of your time.
