If you haven't completed, please visit https://arc.ucr.edu/mpp for information on how to complete the Math Placement Assessment (MPA).

If you are exempted from the  Math Placement Assessment (MPA) you may not qualify to participate in any of the Math courses in the Highlander Early Start Academy.

If you have scored 2 on the AP Calc AB you ARE qualified to participate in the Math 5A in the Highlander Early Start Academy. If you have scored 3 of higher on the AP Calc AB you do NOT qualify for the Highlander Early Start Academy.
Have you taken the  Writing Placement Process (WPP)? *
If you placed into English 4, you qualify to participate in the Highlander Early Start Academy

If you are exempted from the Writing Placement Process (WPP) , you do not qualify to participate in the English 4 course in the Highlander Early Start Academy. Please check if your Math Placement allows you to participate in the Highlander Early Start Academy.

The 828 Summer Bridge Program provides a supplemental opportunity for incoming Black scholars to engage in a first-year cohort experience dedicated to furthering student academic engagement and persistence while at the University of California Riverside.
