2024/2025 Music Educator Conductor Application

The Davidson College Choirs seek applicants for our 2024/2025 Distinguished Music Educator Conductor. You will be invited to conduct in our fall and spring concerts. Receive rehearsal and concert footage, as well as free concert tickets for your guests and students. Should the music educator selected wish to be mentored to prepare for rehearsal and the concert, it will absolutely be made available.

Thank you for all you do for students in our field. We think the world of you and are grateful for your hard work that impacts us all so greatly.

I understand that if I am selected, I will work with the Director of Choirs at Davidson College to identify two concerts and co-select the appropriate piece to conduct that best serves the choruses and my own development. I agree to prepare my selected repertoire and seek mentorship from the director in the preparation and execution of the pieces in rehearsal and concert as needed and dependent on my ability. I agree to attend/rehearse/perform my piece at a minimum of one regular rehearsal, one dress rehearsal, and one concert per term. If selected, I would provide the director with a short biography and headshot for publicity purposes.
