Larry is coming to grace to talk about Generational differences in two sessions. Between the sessions we will have lunch together.
The first session runs about 45 minutes and is titled
"The Five Generations and Generational Differences"
Each generation has a set of characteristics and beliefs that are unique to that generation. When we have a better understanding and acceptance of the differences, it can improve communication and help all of us in our relationship with fellow co-workers, family and friends
Matures - Born before 1946 = 76 or older
Baby Boomers -1946 - 1964 = 58 - 75
Generation X - 1965 - 1980 = 42 - 57
Millennials - 1981 - 2000 = 24 - 41
Generation Z - Born after 2000 = 23 and under
This Program will focus on explaining generational differences and the effect this is having in our everyday lives and in the world around us.
Following the first session well have a 45 minute break for lunch and fellowship with each other. A free will offering will be taken to help cover the cost of the meal.
The second session will run about an hour and 15 minutes and is titled
"MILLENNIALS AND THE CHURCH HERE THEY COME READY OR NOT"
This presentation is non-denominational. It explains the effect that the younger generations are having on the church and religion. It also explores the possibilities of getting the younger generations to church and keeping them there.
