Dear Potential Students,

Welcome Safeeratalislam Academy’s Online School.

We appreciate your interest and want to be sure you understand our school's mission and expectations of proper Islamic etiquette. Our school policy is as follows:

We hold the privacy of our students, our teachers and our Admin team with highest regard. Specifically, all students and teachers are required to adhere to a professional behavior both inside and outside the classroom.

Personal information may NOT be exchanged between students and teachers at any time by:
- iMessage chat
- What’s App chat
- Telegram
- Social Media (faceBook)
- personal email
- or phone call

If a student or a teacher privately contacts one another, a one time warning will be privately given to resolve the matter, In Sha’a Allah.

🚫🚫🚫 *NO personal use of ANY SFI Academy Zoom rooms*

Students MUST enter Zoom with their registered full legal name, please no kunyah or nickname.

🚫🚫🚫 *One SFI Academy Section Only*

Students are NOT Allowed to register or attend ANY classes in more than one Section of Safeeratalislam Academy.

Certificates are earned by completing all the required coursework in ONE SFI Academy Section only.

🚫🚫🚫 *NO MALES ALLOWED*

Teachers’ and Students’ voices CANNOT be heard by males older than 10 years of age. Students must wear headphones 🎧 while in class. Failing to do so is breaking the trust of Allah subHanawata’ala, the teachers and your fellow classmates.

🚫🚫🚫 *NO Personal Camera use*

When in Zoom, please be sure to disable your video camera. All classes are taught using audio and visual materials, like books or presentation slides. No camera use is allowed. Students do not see the teacher and the teacher does not see the students. The fundamental principle is to learn.

🚫🚫🚫 *NO Personal Soliciting*

SFI Academy does NOT authorize the posting of any other programs outside of Safeeratalislam Academy. A student who accidentally posts on any chat, MUST remove it immediately. Select “DELETE FOR EVERYONE” to remove it from the SFI Academy's What’s App chat.

🚫🚫🚫 *NO Sharing of ANY SFI Academy links*

Students cannot share/forward links like: ZOOM, Google Classroom, What’s App or any other recordings or material.   

🚫🚫🚫 *NO Personal Messaging to Administration Team

Students kindly refrain from the following:
- privately calling any Admin
- privately iMessaging Admin
- privately What’s App messaging an Admin

Instead, post any questions you may have on the Q&A What's App chat.

In Sha' Allah, an Admin will respond within 24 hours. If we do not know the answer, we will let you know that we are looking in to it. It may take a few days and an Admin may reach out to you privately to resolve your question. In that case, private communications are permissible.
