Please complete the form below so that your child may be placed into their preferred music class for 2019-2020.All fourth grade students are given the option of signing up for strings class. The choices of instruments include the violin, viola, cello or bass. The school provides free instruction and music during the regular specials block so that there is no interruption to core academic instruction.  Students who do not select strings will attend a second general music class.

There are several things to consider when choosing music courses for your child:

• Students are expected to make a full year commitment.
• Students who choose strings need to make a commitment to practicing their instruments at
        home.
• Parents must take responsibility for the maintenance and repair of the instrument when
        needed.
• Students do not miss any academic classes for strings.
• Students on free/reduced lunch may rent select instruments from the school for $20/year.
