--- NEW THIS YEAR ---

200 for 200: Celebrating 200 Years of the RSPCA

Join us in celebrating a significant milestone for the RSPCA: our 200th anniversary! For two centuries, we've been changing minds, laws and practices, all in the pursuit of our mission to create a better world for every kind.

This remarkable journey has been a collective effort, with individuals, communities, and governments alike uniting to protect, promote and improve animal welfare; everyone for every kind. In that same spirit of collaboration, this year we’re super excited to introduce our "200 for 200" initiative. The "200 for 200" initiative sets a bold objective: to present 200 PawPrints awards, symbolising each year of the RSPCA. But achieving this goal requires your help.

That's why we're launching our Referrals Discount Scheme, offering up to 20% off tickets to our prestigious annual awards ceremony for those who successfully refer participants. Waste no time in securing your discount by reaching out to colleagues, friends, and anyone else who fits the bill and encourage them to enter!

Introducing the Massingham Advocacy Award

Not only are we celebrating our 200th anniversary, we're also marking a century of advocacy with the RSPCA's public affairs team. A century ago, Speedwell Massingham blazed a trail as the first public affairs staffer, advocating for improved animal welfare legislation and going on to break barriers for women in public life.

To honour her legacy, we're proud to unveil a new PawPrints category: the Massingham Advocacy Award. This award aims to spotlight the tireless efforts of councillors and elected representatives who advocate for animal welfare and contribute to the advancement of legislation and policy. Do you know a deserving individual for the Massingham Advocacy Award? Nominate them today or encourage them to put themselves forward!

--- AWARDS CEREMONY ---

PawPrints extends beyond recognition; they culminate in our annual awards ceremony, set to grace London this November! This event promises a fabulous evening filled with celebrations, food and beverages, where the spotlight is on you for the night. What’s more? During the day we all get together to share insights, exchange experiences, and develop innovative solutions to the pressing challenges confronting local animal welfare service provision and enforcement.

This year, we're thrilled to introduce two new discount schemes offering savings on tickets for both the day and evening components of the annual PawPrints awards ceremony. Our “Early Bird” discount scheme extends a generous 10% off for evidence submissions received before 30 June 30th 2024, while our “Referrals” discount scheme offers progressive savings of up to 20%, based on the number of successful referrals you make.

Don’t miss your opportunity to be part of a brilliant night of celebrations, honouring excellence in animal welfare service provision. Participate in invaluable discussions, forge connections, and gather insights that could shape the future of animal welfare. For further details about the awards ceremony, please reach out to lee.gingell@rspca.org.uk.
