City of Milton Youth Council
The purpose of the City of Milton Youth Council is to provide the City of Milton high school and middle school students with a unique experience to participate in the civic process of the city. This program will combine civic engagement, networking opportunities, and valuable professional experience to better position students in the marketplace. The City of Milton Youth Council is designed to allow the youth of Milton to make recommendations to City Council on issues particular to the interest of the youth as well as advocate for specific development projects on behalf of local youth.

Participants of the Youth Council are expected to attend one monthly meeting, collaborate with Youth Council outside of the scheduled monthly meeting, develop initiatives or community service events to better the lives of Milton citizens and compete in statewide competitions. If selected, you will be responsible for executing the tasks mentioned above.

For your application to be considered complete, your unofficial transcript must be submitted to Assistant Planner Amanda Rice via email arice@miltonfl.org. There is NO GPA Requirement. Participants must live within Milton City limits and in the 8th-12th grade.
