VICTORY: Uber/Lyft Drivers Claim for Full Unemployment Benefits!
On July 28, 2020, NYTWA and four of our Uber/Lyft members won a federal ruling requiring the DOL to pay all app drivers the full unemployment insurance benefits which you have a right to under the law. The DOL--and Uber and Lyft--have been forcing drivers into a lower rate such as $182 under PUA, instead of the $504 many of you are entitled to under the regular state unemployment. That stops today. Fill out this form so the union that fought for and won this victory for 120,000 New York state app drivers can make sure you get the benefits you are owed!
