Markmið og inntak: Að starfsfólk SFS þekki stefnu Reykjavíkurborgar gegn einelti, áreitni og ofbeldi og áætlun um viðbrögð þegar upp koma mál af þessu tagi.

Á fyrirlestrinum er m.a. farið yfir skilgreiningu á einelti og áreitni , helstu birtingamyndir þess sem og afleiðingar eineltis og áreitni. Kynntar eru fyrirbyggjandi aðgerðir gegn einelti og áreitni og hvert starfsfólk getur leitað ef það telur sig verða fyrir einelti eða áreitni.

Bullying and Harassment at the Workplace

The Human Resource Services offer a lecture on Bullying and Harassment at the workplace for all Icelandic-, Polish- and English-speaking staff within the department.  This lecture is interpreted in Icelandic, English and Polish.

Target group: Teacher assistants, school aides, secretaries, school property managers, and other school staff
Objective and Core Theme: For the staff under the Reykjavík Department of Education and Youth to be informed about the city’s policy against bullying, harassment and violence. And for participants to learn about the procedures for resolving such cases should they arise.

Among the topics included in this lecture, are definitions of bullying and harassment, how they manifest and what are their consequences, and whom to contact when bullied or harassed.
