About The Workshop:
ACT III JEWELS VARIATION -
In Act III of The Sleeping Beauty, the entire kingdom celebrates the wedding of Princess Aurora and the Prince Desiré. In attendance are the Gold, Silver, and Ruby Jewel Fairies. Their performance boasts their refined and elegant technique and a touch of lightness that absolutely sparkles on stage.
The variation comprises ballet steps such as relevé passé, attitude jeté, assemblé and emboîté.
Prerequisites:
1. This is a fully-vaccinated workshop. Masks may be removed when dancing.
2. The variation will be taught at the intermediate level. Participants should have at least 1 year of ballet training or are current students of Studio Ballet Classic (Level 2 Non-Syllabus Adult Ballet) class to ensure that learning is maximised during the workshop.
