1. General Information
  • TheLastDanse tournament is open to all players.
  • Organized by TheDi4nier, this tournament aims to provide the last friendly competitive experience in Spectre Divide.
  • Date of the Tournament: April 5, 2025.
  • Time: Matches begin at 14h00  [UTC+1] | 02:00pm  [UTC+1] : (PARIS, FR)
  • Ranks : Everyone

2. Participation Requirements
  • Minimum Age: Participants must be at least 13 years old.
  • Platform: The tournament is open to players on PC.
  • Registration: Players must register via this official form or by contacting the organizer
  • Confirmation : You will be contacted by the organizer
  • Commitment: By registering, participants agree to adhere to the rules, schedules, and uphold sportsmanship.

3. Consent for Recording and Streaming
  • By registering for TheLastDanse, participants agree that their gameplay, usernames, and in-game interactions may be:
    • Recorded for archival purposes.
    • Broadcasted live on Twitch through the TheDi4nier account.
  • Players also acknowledge that matches may be commented on by live commentators and shared publicly.
  • If a participant has concerns about privacy or the use of their content, they must contact the organizer before the tournament begins.

4.   Tournament Format
  • Type of Tournament:
    • Double elimination (Upper & Lower Bracket)
    • All matches are played in 1v1 format (1 Team vs 1 Team).
    • Grand FInale will be a BO3
  • Match Duration:
    • In case of a tie, a won by 2 rounds will decide the winner.
    • In case of 11-11 a new match will restart to provide an OT.
  • Tournament Progression:
    • Matches will follow a predetermined schedule.
    • Participants will be informed of their 1st match at least 2 hours in advance.

5. Schedule and Delays
  • Match Times: The match schedule will be shared after registration closes.
  • Delays: Players have a 10-minute grace period to show up after the scheduled match time.
    • After this period, their opponent will win by default.
  • Rescheduling: In case of emergencies, a rescheduling request must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance and approved by the organizer.

6.   Gameplay Rules
  • Game Settings:
    • Mode: Standard 1v1 (Team vs Team).
    • toss a coin to decide map or side.
    • Map: 
      • Each captain bans one map.

      • The remaining map will be played.

    • Map for Grand Final:
      • Each captain bans one map.

      • Each captain picks one map from the remaining ones.

      • A random map will be played in case of a tie.

  • Connection:
    • Players are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection.
    • Frequent disconnections may result in the referee declaring a winner.
  • Cheating and Exploits:
    • Use of third-party software, bugs, or unsportsmanlike behavior will result in immediate disqualification.
7. Referees and Disputes
  • Referees: Each match will be supervised by a referee or moderator whose decisions are final.
  • Technical Issues:
    • In the event of a technical issue, the match may be replayed under the referee’s supervision.
  • Disputes: Players can report problems or appeal decisions via contacting the organizer.

8. Prizes
  • Prizes for the last danse tournament include:
    • 1st Place: 50€ per player.
  • NOTE : Prizes will be distributed within a maximum of two months after tournament for security reasons.
  • NOTE² : If we do not reach eight team, the cash prize will be adjusted based on the number of registered teams. (-22,5€ per slot not filled)

9. Behavior and Sportsmanship
  • Mutual Respect: Participants must treat other players, referees, and organizers with respect at all times. Disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Toxicity: Hate speech, insults, or toxic behavior are strictly prohibited. Such actions will result in immediate disqualification from the tournament.
  • Smurfing:
    • Smurfing—using an alternate account to disguise skill level or bypass eligibility requirements—is strictly forbidden.
    • If smurfing is detected, the entire team may be penalized, including losing their eligibility for cash prizes, regardless of individual involvement.
    • All accounts will be verified before the tournament to ensure fairness.
  • Exploits and Bugs: Using game exploits such as wallbanging a wall that is only one-way wallbang or abusing bugs that provide an unfair advantage, is strictly prohibited and will lead to disqualification.

  • Penalties:
    • Verbal Warning (minor infractions).
    • No CashPrize for the player (serious infractions).
    • Immediate Disqualification (major violations).

10. Communication
  • Participants must join the Discord of the organizer server to receive updates, communicate with organizers, and report any issues.
  • All important announcements will be shared on Discord and/or via email.

11. Acceptance of Rules
  • By registering for the tournament, each player agrees to abide by the full set of rules and regulations.
  • The organizer reserves the right to modify the rules if necessary, with prior notice to participants.
